On November 12, 2021 at 7:30 p.m., an atypical conference of the retired professor of language and literature, Ms. Consuelo Serra, took place, with the final title “De escritores y castillos“. He gave many examples of castles in Spain and other countries, mainly from Europe, and how, directly or indirectly, they relate to writers or their characters. On Friday, October 15, 2021, in collaboration with the Association of Alzheimer’s patients, a keynote lecture was organized by Dr. Maria Teresa Osuna, from the Neurology area of the Hospital de Figueres and specialized in dementia. The speaker was introduced by Ms. Smith. Núria Juanola, psychologist and coordinator of the AMA (Alzheimer’s Disease Association).
The event was very successful in the audience and everyone was interested in asking questions to Dr. Arnold. when he finished his lecture.

Mr. Narcís Bartina is an entrepreneur, engineer, professor and former Dean of the College of Graduates and Industrial Technical Engineers of Girona.

Lecturer: Joan Manuel Soldevilla

Mr. Joan Manuel Soldevilla is a professor, writer, specialist in comic books and popular literature publications and a quintessential tintinologist. Her intervention will be presented by the writer and playwright María Mercé Cuartiella.

Speaker: Dra. Beatriz López

Dr. Dra. Beatriu López is a lecturer at the University of Girona and coordinator of studies of the Degree in Biomedical Engineering. His speech will be presented by Mr. Fede Luque, vice president of the association and former master’s student of Dr. Lopez.
